History

CAPAC is a well-known Chamber of Commerce in Panama with major construction companies and related businesses being members of the organization.

CAPAC is also responsible for organizing the successful Expo Vivienda, Expo Habitat and Expo Chiriqui in Panama, as well as providing an arbitration service called CESCON.

Optimized has previously worked with the British and American Chambers of Commerce and is committed to making all website updates within 24 hours.

The existing CAPAC group sites were very outdated and not easy to navigate.

Solution

Optimized was selected to build websites for all five of CAPAC’s business areas.

The Joomla platform was selected to build the websites as, at the time, the templates and plugins offered were more comprehensive than WordPress alternatives. In 2023 and 2024 all websites were updated and rebuilt with the latest WordPress features. 

Unlike many websites, a shortage of content was not an issue for the main CAPAC website as it had hundreds of articles and PDFs to be uploaded to the site.

The two trade show websites were built with a similar design to provide a seamless look and feel.

The CAPAC website requires an update almost every day with the latest news, training and industry news. Optimized has a dedicated team to ensure that these updates are made within 24 hours of the request.

Results

The combination of the high level of initial content and frequent updates means that the CAPAC website maintains excellent search engine results for many highly competitive terms in Panama.
